Abstract:
Although Moses' combination of old age, limited Jewish background, no applicable employment experience, and violent temper would seem to make him an unlikely Jewish leader, an in-depth study of his early life reveals the opposite. Indeed, Moses embodied many attributes of leadership and service that are of value in Jewish communal service.
