Abstract:
"Blindness is not a handicap. It is an inconvenience." This is the fundamental premise undergirding the Internal Light Program at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, a belief that the visually impaired older adult can actively participate in lifeāat the Center and in his community and that a visually impaired older adult can continue to make a contribution to the community.
