Abstract:
The United States can and must improve in strategic communications. There is no national security strategy for strategic communications seven years into the War on Terror. The proposals contained in the Smith-Thornberry Amendment (H.A. 5) to the Defense Authorization Bill are a vital first step towards fully engaging a massive global audience.
