Abstract:
The authors report the results of a survey of 1,385 young Americans (aged 18-25), undertaken in order to ascertain: (1) how young people are coming to understand their religious identity; (2) what their religious practices look like in this era of customization and change; and (3) the ways religious identity informs the civic participation of today's youth.
