Abstract:
JESNA (the Jewish Education Service of North America) examines how sixteen American Jewish communities are pursuing the goal of "linking silos," creating stronger connections between and among programs and settings in order to maximize participation in and the impact of Jewish education. This paper details inter-organizational collaborations, professional networks, community-wide programs and other efforts undertaken by synagogues and central Jewish agencies in these communities.
