Abstract:
Grandparents are often seen as a repository of important memories and traditional culture. This article suggests that a great supplement to a Jewish child’s education in aging is to establish a dialogue between a child and his or her grandparents. The author proposes that creating an apparatus of dialogue such as this one helps to teach crucial concepts about aging, while also providing a comfortable learning environment for the child.
