Abstract:
This report examines Jewish and general population data for lower Manhattan. Demographics and trends covered include relationships between age, gender, marital status, areas of Jewish residence, secular education, financial status and poverty, place of birth, vulnerable populations, social services, and Jewish connections. Data are drawn from the UJA-Federation's "Jewish Community Study: 2002" as well as the American Community Survey.
