Abstract:
The author produced this report for internal use by the Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services (JBFCS) in New York City. Based heavily on quantitative research, the report demonstrates the advantages to organizations of offering flexibility in the workplace. The author describes different types of flexible work arrangements, demonstrating the need and benefit of such arrangements. She also suggests relevant web resources. Also included is a reference sheet on workplace flexibility, entitled "Making the Case: the Flexible Jewish Work Place" as well as "A Guide to Workplace Flexibility at JBFCS."
