Abstract:

The author describes the Toronto Jewish community's unique program for resettlement of Soviet Jews in Toronto. While the program's basic methods of assisting with housing, English language instruction and vocational assistance make it similar to its counterpart programs in many US cities, the Toronto program differs in organizational structure.
