Abstract:
The author reviews recent studies bearing on intermarriage rates and their demographic consequences in an attempt to evaluate the grounds for concerns that intermarriage will lead to an imminent dissolution of the American Jewish community. He argues that intermarriage rates are not yet high enough to warrant fear.
