Abstract:
The author describes his experiences in East Timor in the 1970s, and particularly how a Passover Haggadah contributed to cultural exchange. He insists that the Jewish community and the world must act to support the people of East Timor in their pursuit of liberation and freedom from Indonesian oppression and violence.
