This issue of Contact focuses on Jewish Summer Camps. Dr. Gary A.Tobin discusses the future of Jewish camping. Doron Krakow discusses the history of how Jewish camps have taught Zionism and love for Israel. Amy L. Sales and Leonard Saxe examine the role of counselors at camp and the impact of the summer experience on their own development, basing their findings on a multi-year study of Jewish summer camping.
