Abstract:
The Social Security Administration's National Beneficiary Survey is a key component of Mathematica's congressionally mandated evaluation to assess the successes and shortcomings of the Ticket to Work program. This report describes the sampling design and data collection for the third round of the survey conducted in 2006. It also uses data from the survey to provide descriptive statistics about working-age Social Security disability beneficiaries.
