Abstract:
This report offers an in-depth analysis of working-age individuals with work goals and/or expectations--defined as work-oriented beneficiaries--who are receiving Social Security benefits. Using data from 2004 through 2007, it describes beneficiaries' work-orientation status, characteristics, use of Social Security benefits and programs, and employment expectations.
