Abstract:
Current methods of generating electricity produce unacceptable levels of air pollution and contribute to global warming. Clean Energy Solutions demonstrates that by investing in widely available energy efficiency opportunities and abundant renewable energy potential, New Jersey could reduce pollution and realize economic benefits. Energy efficiency is less expensive than generating electricity, and investing in renewable energy would create more jobs and generate electricity more cheaply than traditional nuclear or fossil fuel plants.
