This report reproduces the "Flag Code" (4 U.S.C. §§ 4-10) and the section concerning the “National Anthem” (36 U.S.C. § 301). The report discusses questions regarding flag etiquette, explains the non-compulsory nature of the display provisions, and provides explanations of the various provisions of the Code.
