Abstract:
This report is the third in a series examining the experiences of women, particularly women of color, in the areas hit by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. It involved discussions with 38 survivors of Hurricane Katrina, following up from earlier interviews, as the basis for an analysis of the experiences and concerns of women following that storm and other disasters.
