CGS recently published a straightforward, comprehensive overview of California's 2007 redistricting reform proposals to assist legislators, the media and interested citizens in understanding the redistricting reform measures. In an easy-to-read format, the Comparative Overview details the major provisions of the pending legislative and ballot initiative proposals listed below. It also compares them against the components of the ideal redistricting plan previously developed by CGS and other civic organizations.
