These slides are from a July 13 congressional briefing on the Child Support Protection Act of 2007 (S. 803 and H.R. 1386). The briefing, which was cosponsored by CLASP, explained the devastating impact of the child support cut--approved by Congress last year and scheduled to take effect this October--on states, counties, and families.
