This document explains the methodology used to generate population and household projections for Florida counties, jurisdictions, and unincorporated areas. The Shimberg Center creates these projections annually for the Affordable Housing Needs Assessment, which provides data required for use in the housing elements of local comprehensive plans in Florida.
