Abstract:
The article points to three elements needed in order to achieve a desirable vision for Jewish education: 1)The vision must be sufficiently clear, based, and compelling for us to mobilize our energies around it; (2) There must be an honest analysis of where we are and what holds us back from reaching our vision; (3) There is a need for a strategy of change. Regarding the current situation of Jewish education, the author emphasizes that if there is a crisis of Jewish education today, it is a crisis of unfulfilled potential.
