Abstract:
CGR identified opportunities for the Village and Town of Allegany to improve services and reduce costs through shared municipal services strategies. The study was funded by a NYS Shared Municipal Services Incentive (SMSI) grant. The report provides information about all operations where potential exists for sharing services, including administrative, court, police, water, sewer, code enforcement and street/highway operations. The intent of the report is to provide information to help Village and Town leaders make decisions about the future.
