Abstract:
The United States is a member of seven multilateral development institutions. This report discusses the process for U.S. involvement in each. The U.S. Treasury Department manages US. participation, in consultation with other agencies. Congress has a major role in the formulation of U.S. policy, though this differs in several important respects from the role it exercises over U.S. agencies. This report will be updated periodically.
