Generating electricity from renewable energy sources provides more jobs than traditional energy sources, according to both economic models and real-life experience. As documented in Renewables Work, California could create jobs and strengthen tax revenues by initiating long-term contracts or requirements that utilities obtain electricity from renewable sources.
