Abstract:
In Contemporary Jewry 16, 126-130. Beyond the vitally connected core of the America's Jewish population, increasing numbers of Jews live low density Jewish lives, both geographically and in terms of ethnicity and religion. Directions for change in the cultures and structures of the organized Jewish community are noted which are more likely to reach such Jews than are ideological appeals.
