Abstract:
In Jewish Population Studies 19 (Papers in Jewish Demography, 1985), 149-156. This paper deals with aspects of demographic behavior and expectations of never-married Jewish women in the United States. Some explanatory information on entrance into the sexual life of never-married Jewish women is presented. Are young Jewish women, who still have a chance to marry, different from comparable groups of white women in the United States insofar as the critical steps of entrance into sexual life are concerned?
