In : Studies in Jewish Education 2, 255-288. This study assessed the independent effects of school, parents, adolescent friends, spouse, youth groups, and summer camps upon adult religious involvement. Also assessed was the relative influence of other background characteristics such as: secular education, income, age, sex, generation America, parental socio-economic status, social mobility and military service.
