The primary focus in this article will be a discussion and assessment of the impact of both general American and Jewish feminism on demographics, religious, and organizational spheres of American Jewish life. Source materials include statistical data from population studies of several Jewish communities; published and unpublished studies on particular segments of the Jewish population; analytical works that explore relevant aspects of American Jewish life; and articles in the popular press.
