In: Journal of Curriculum Studies 12/4, 307-321. The paper examines several representative programmes and curricula to determined the attitudes to the study-moral dialectic implicit in them. The specific question to be examined is: given the pluralism of modern Judaism, what are the categories in the study-moral action dialectic to be found in today's Jewish schools?
