Abstract:
Quantitative and qualitative data from 35 women were used to assess how women identified as gifted in the 1950s have experienced giftedness and competence in the personal and interpersonal domains of their lives. Analyses of extensive interview data provided new insights to the experience and meaning of work for gifted women.
