Abstract:
This essay analyzes in detail survey data to find out how Jews feel and act about race relations in general and relations with blacks in particular; how these Jewish feelings and actions compare with those of other racial, ethnic, and religious groups; what factors help explain the Jewish patterns; and how these patterns have changed from the 1970s to the present.
