Abstract:

The goal of this report is to provide a basis for the American Jewish Congress task force to determine recommendations and priorities. The first part discusses the current state of the AJC: its membership, finances, structure and policies i.e., the major internal constraints in the development of priorities. The second part deals with the American Jewish community and its directions i.e., the external constraints. The concluding part is a presentation of the priority alternatives.
