Abstract:
This study describes with broad statistical brush-strokes the variety and extent of Jewish identification patterns among the Jews of Philadelphia. The paper is intended to enable those concerned about the continuity of Judaism and the Jewish community to plan more responsively to meet the complex social, cultural and religious needs of the people comprising the local Jewish community.
