Abstract:

The following guide was compiled in order to encourage and improve local teacher recognition in communities in North America. It is hoped the reader uses this guide to create a teacher recognition ceremony; revamp or renew existing ceremonies; explore diverse ways to meaningfully recognize the teacher in the community; and encourage community-wide enthusiasm for such recognition.
