Abstract:

Based on data from the 2000-01 NJPS this research tries to respond to the following questions: Which Jews join the JCC's in the United States? How do JCC members differ from other American Jews in terms of their socio-demographic characteristics? Are JCC members part and parcel of the largely affiliated Jewish population or are they more similar to unaffiliated Jews?
