Abstract:
The challenge for religious education and religious educators lies in preserving the integrity of the ideal, "Tikkun Ha'Olam - Repairing the World" by locating it within our larger religious traditions and translating it into the life of our religious communities. This essay will attempt to analyze this challenges from the perspective of the Jewish tradition, the Jewish community, and Jewish education.
