Abstract:

The author responds to the common public misconception that donating to organizations is less effective than direct alms-giving to individuals by describing how an organization would respond differently and more holistically to someone, or family, in need. The process of investigation is not primarily to detect fraud, but rather to provide a thorough 'diagnosis' of the situation and develop a better and more personalized solution. The results of the investigation are confidential.
