Abstract:
The author laments the flawed work and attitude of immigration officials and judges in Galveston Texas, where their poor judgment in the application of immigration policy has led to the denial of worthy immigrants and the closure of the Galveston Bureau for the Reception and Placing of Jewish Immigrants.
