Abstract:

In order to improve communication among Jewish communities, particularly in the service of the Desertion Bureau to assist in finding husbands who abandoned their families and exert pressure from the community to support his wife and children, the National Conference of Jewish Charities has appointed seventy-four correspondents in as many unaffiliated cities and towns.
