Abstract:
The author describes the operations and creation of the Juvenile Aid Society by the Young Women's Union of Philadelphia in order to support the juvenile justice system and aid Jewish juenile offenders. It is entirely composed of women, and in addition to its work with the juvenile justice apparatus, it works to help needy and at risk families, places and follows orphans in foster homes and running programs in schools with large Jewish populations.
