Abstract:

The author discusses the challenge of teaching in a Jewish settlement kindergartens, where students come from a wide range of socio-economic backgrounds and it is impossible to judge from appearances who has enough and who is hungry, and so on. In fact, the settlement kindergarten demonstrates that the home life of a child is a fundamental factor in education, and the need for a connection between the home and kindergarten.
