Abstract:
The Syracuse Jewish federation used the principles of adult leaming and collaborative leadership in its three-year Jewish educational planning process. The varying goals and perspectives of the three leaders of the planning effort enriched the communal planning initiative, which was supported and challenged by a mission statement, developed at the outset.
