Abstract:
Changing family pattems and increasing problems with infertility are compelling Jewish family service agencies to restructure their adoption services, and specifically, to develop cross-cultural adoption programs. Cross-cultural adoption raises unique issues for Jewish families and their adopted children, Jewish family service agencies can play a pivotal role in helping families struggling with these issues by offering a range of services through the life cycle and by sponsoring adoptive family support groups.
