Abstract:

The research presented in this article describes the varying perspectives brought by supplementary school teachers and principals to the complex endeavor of Jewish family education. These practitioners' views vary widely and are defined more by their position in the school than by the type of family education program they offer. Neither the principals nor the teachers are aware of the dilemmas and concerns faced by each other and the teachers' perspectives are not incorporated into the educational planning process.
