Abstract:
This article describes a comprehensive approach to the problem of elder abuse that encompasses prevention, identification, and intervention. Its goal is to preserve elderly clients in their natural surroundings whenever possible. The project's screening and assessment tools, as well as staff training, equip social workers with the tools needed to detect and handle abusive situations.
