Abstract:

Under the sponsorship of the Union of Sephardic Congregations a study of American-born Sephardim of Judeo-Spanish background was conducted during 1972. This report presents the main findings of the research concluding that if there is no reversal in the trends indicated by the data, no viable Sephardic community may be left in the U.S. in two or three generations.
