Abstract:
This is the benchmark statewide survey of the civic engagement of Illinois residents. It shows that the people of Illinois are indeed engaged in their communities, but they vary in their primary type of engagement. The report includes a typology of engagement and 68 recommendations for enhancing civic engagement in Illinois. This is the Final Report of the Illinois Civic Engagement Project.
