Abstract:
One in five children in the United States is a child of immigrants, and the proportion is growing. Despite high rates of employment and marriage, immigrant families are more likely than native-born families to be low income and face other challenges that can place their children at risk. Members of the foundation community have an important role to play in working to achieve positive outcomes for these children.
