Abstract:
In the continuing debate over how to reform America’s ailing health care system, one solution often proposed - especially in the press - is for the United States simply to adopt a government-run system similar to that of Canada. Recent research, however, reveals that many of the assertions made about the Canadian system by its enthusiasts are not accurate.
