Abstract:
United Nations Development Program is a public international organization that is a part of the United Nations system. As such, and as a result of its unique position within that system, the contribution that UNDP can make to global development is inherently limited. The U.S. can take the lead in providing the necessary rethinking on UNDP goals--with the result of really helping the less developed countries to help themselves.
